Only D-2 visa holders can apply (excluding D-2-5).
•
Applications can only be made within 90 days from the date of entry into Korea.

Students whose stay expired before September 1, 2023 are recommended to apply individually.

July 17 (Mon) 9:00 ~ July 26th (Wed) 18:00

Notice

•
Currently, the earliest reservation date for visiting the immigration office has been confirmed as October 2nd, so please understand that it is difficult to proceed with reservations.
•
The service of reviewing the documents of application for extension of stay period will be conducted from August 21st (Mon) to August 27th (Sun). Please wait for the period of the document review.
•
This application is an agency application for immigration visit reservation, and reservations may be unavailable depending on the situation at the Immigration. Please apply with the understanding that it may be difficult to make a reservation before the expiration date, depending on the status of reservations at the immigration during September.
•
Visit reservation applications are processed in the order requested by Hirevisa. (First-come, first-served basis)
•
On July 28th at 10:00 am, we will inform you of the result of visit reservation of the immigration by email.

Application Process

1.
Click the APPLY button and follow the process (upload the document).
2.
Hirevisa will send you an email after confirming your application for an extension.
3.
If you need to submit supplementary documents, you will get an e-mail about it.
4.
If your documents are ready, Hirevisa will send your documents to you by email.

Notice

•
You must stay in Korea during the administrative agency processing period, and you may not be allowed to leave the country.
•
Please note that if you are Bachelor's degree (D2-2) → Master's degree (D2-3), or Master's degree (D2-3) → Doctor (D2-4) and the school you did the Bachelor (or Master) is different from the one you are going to attend for Master (or Doctor), you need to apply for an extension of the sojourn period within 15 days of the start of the semester.
•
An application for an extension can be made at the earliest four months before the expiration date of your stay.
•
If your date of stay expires before the extension permit is confirmed, there might be some difficulties in using banking services, health insurance benefits and mobile services, but once the extension is permitted, you can use those services as before.
